Chief of Police Mike Grant is a veteran police officer with over 25 years of law enforcement experience.

He has a BS in Criminal Justice with honors.
He is a U.S. Active Army veteran as well as a California Army National Guard Veteran.
He is a POST cerfified, Police Mountain Bike Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Gang Instructor and is a certified Basic Glock Armorer.
He instructs the various area Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) in Disaster Psychology and Terrorism modules.
He started the first Stallion Springs Neighborhood Watch program.
He started the first Community Services Unit for the police department.
He has served as both the Interim and Assistant General Manager for the district since 2014.
